A sheet of cardboard is placed in the stapling section, and a technician sets the stapling pressure based on the cardboard's thickness. The width of the stapling support frame is adjusted according to the cardboard's length and thickness.

If the cardboard is too thick, personnel should be assigned to appropriately thin the stapling area to prevent the cover paper from being crushed during stapling.

Stapling is performed according to the production notice. Stapling should be performed along the centerline of the overlapped portion, with a deviation of no more than 3mm.

Stapling spacing should be uniform, with the first and last staples 20mm apart from the top and bottom lines. Single staple spacing should be no greater than 55mm, and double staple spacing should be no greater than 75mm. The process leader and team leader can each take a carton and conduct an initial inspection. During this inspection, the carton should be placed under natural light. Key points to note are:
1. Nails must be secure and fully stapled. There must be no overlapping, missing, warped, broken, bent, or misaligned nails.
2. When stapling the carton, the two pieces must be aligned, and there must be no scissor-shaped edges.
3. After folding, the finished carton must be square. For cartons with an overall dimension of less than or equal to 1000mm, the difference between the top diagonals must not exceed 3mm. The overall deviation of the inner diameter of single-wall corrugated cartons must not exceed ±2mm, and for double-wall corrugated cartons, it must not exceed ±4mm. For cartons with an overall dimension greater than 1000mm, the difference between the top diagonals must not exceed 5mm. The overall deviation of the inner diameter of single-wall corrugated cartons must not exceed ±3mm, and for double-wall corrugated cartons, it must not exceed ±5mm.
4. The diameter of corner holes must not exceed 4mm², and there must not be noticeable corner wrapping. The gap or overlap of the flap must not exceed 2mm. 5. When nailing the box, there must be no upside-down nailing phenomenon, and two pieces of box blanks with inconsistent positive and negative sides, varieties and specifications must not be nailed together incorrectly.
