Features of Double Facer
Dual-layer precision stacking:
Our advanced stacker features independent upper and lower conveying systems. The upper layer utilizes a four-segment flat belt, while the lower employs a three-segment belt.
Intelligent control & reliable handling:
Carbon fiber paper hold-down brushes at each layer's infeed adjust pressure based on board length. Pneumatic board supports and pressing steel belts between rear conveying segments ensure automatic lifting and reliable sheet separation during transitions.


Stable stacking & discharge:
Servo motors control the upper suspension basket and lower gantry stacking mechanisms for precise, stable lifting. Both layers use flat belt stacking and side discharge to reliably output completed stacks.
Smart features:
Laser distance measurement ensures accurate stack height monitoring. Discharged boards are swiftly moved via optional motorized trolley; a standard conveying/packing platform is provided otherwise.
Application of Double Facer
Heating and gelatinization: The machine uses heated plates, typically heated by steam, to gelatinize the glue, ensuring a firm, secure adhesive bond between the paper layers.
Drying and moisture removal: It dries the adhesive and removes excess moisture from the paperboard to ensure rigidity.
Cooling and shaping: The cooling section stabilizes the board's shape and size, which is critical for reducing warp and improving flatness.
Bonding and lamination: It binds the single-faced corrugated sheet (or multiple sheets) with a flat linerboard to create single-wall, double-wall, or triple-wall corrugated board.
Pressure application: It uses a combination of weight rollers, pressure plates, and conveyor belts to provide consistent pressure during the bonding process.
